Proper Inhalation Techniques for Vaping

Learning how to vape is easy, but there are some techniques that every new vaper should knowso you can thoroughly enjoy the vaping experience .

When compared to the way tobacco cigarettes are smoked, e cigarettes require a slightly different inhalation technique  it might take a little practice.

Here's some 'do's and don'ts to help

Do's

When inhaling on your e cigarette, you need to take a slow, steady draw, similar to how you’d smoke a cigar. Drawing in a smooth, steady breath and slowly exhaling

Holding the vapour in your mouth before you inhale will ensure that the nicotine is absorbed properly and will give you the maximum impact of every inhale.

With e cigs nicotine is absorbed by the mucus membranes in the mouth as well as the lungs, rather than just the lungs as when smoking tobacco.

With e cigarettes it can take a little bit longer to feel the effect.

Wait at least 20 seconds before you take another draw, you may suddenly feel the effects of the nicotine after a slight delay.

If you want to prime your e cig, you can always hold down the power button for a few seconds at a time to heat up the e liquid, prepping it for a better inhale.

Don’ts

A few things you should know to avoid.

Avoid taking short, sharp drags as you would with a tobacco cigarette.

An e cigarette is not designed to be smoked in the same way, and short draws are not recommended as they don’t allow the e liquid adequate time to heat up properly.

Chain vaping is also not recommended, get the maximum satisfaction from a few extended draws, then give your device some time to cool off before you use it again.

Repetitive vaping can also lead to vapour's tongue or factory fatigue, so if you are not getting satisfaction as your nicotine levels are too low, increase your e liquid’s nicotine content rather than vaping more.

By learning proper inhalation techniques from the start you’ll enjoy vaping to the fullest
